What to Expect When Visiting
At Lake Morton Community Church, we feel that it’s our responsibility to help you meet with God. We want you to be able to experience uplifting music, Christ-centered messages, friendly people and an encouraging atmosphere. Also, we know that your first time at a church brings up some questions. Here is a quick look at what you can expect, based on what people see when they visit Lake Morton Community Church.
It’s friendly!
Here at Lake Morton Community Church, we’ll make sure the first face you see when you approach the church has a smile on it. Whether you need childcare or are looking for a place for your teens, a greeter will be nearby to help you get where you need to go. Our Sunday morning worship service is held upstairs in the building with the steeple. Our facilities are accessible to those with special needs.
Great music!
You’ll enjoy upbeat contemporary music as well as traditional hymns on Sunday morning. We want to help you connect through worship with the personal hope and practical help that God can give us.
What should I wear?
We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. Dress casual or dress up, you will fit right in.
Programs for your children!
We know that as a parent you need to be sure that your children are in a SAFE learning environment. We also know that your children are looking for a FUN place to learn. So we’ve invested a lot to make sure that both of these goals are reached through our nursery and children's church ministries.
The offering!
The offering is for those who are regular members of the Lake Morton Community Church family. Instead of wanting you to give something, we want you to receive something from your time with us.
If it’s been a long time since you’ve been to church, Lake Morton Community Church has YOU in mind. There’s already enough you have to think about when you’re visiting a church for the first time.
