Thomas Lavallee, Pastor

Tom has been senior pastor at LMCC since 1996 when he moved here from Maine with his wife Kathy and his two children Sarah and Jacob.  One of the great joys of Tom and Kathy's life is that both of their childen are also in vocational ministry; Sarah as a service representative at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and Jacob who serves here at Lake Morton as our Minister of Worship.  The focus  of Tom's ministry has been to introduce people to the joys of knowing God through Christ and  to grow them in the truths of God's Word.  “I want people to enjoy the Lord for whom they were created.  Jesus said that life is found in Him alone, and it's that life I long to see  people know and live."

Ken Garnsey, Associate Pastor

Ken is a 1966 graduate of The King’s College who taught high school social studies for 35 years before God called him to pastor a rural Pennsylvania church. After a heart attack he located in Lakeland where his musical wife, Sandy, and he found LMCC. Within months this retired couple was involved in the church ministry and “unretired” and Ken was soon licensed as our associate pastor. The Garnseys have three grown children and 6 grandchildren. Ken’s dad is now in heaven after pastoring until he was 90. “Sandy and I receive many spiritual blessings as we serve our Savior. As the gospel song says, ‘There is great joy in serving Jesus’. We are so pleased that God led us to Lake Morton Community Church where we have been ‘adopted’ by the church family.”

 Mark Livesay, Youth Pastor

Having grown up in the LMCC youth group, Mark is excited to be back where he grew as a Christian during those formative high school years. While Mark was earning his degree in civil engineering from the University of Florida, he volunteered and served as the Youth Ministry Intern at the EFCA church in Gainesville. Mark is currently working full time as a civil engineer and also fulfilling his desire for the spiritual maturation of today's youth as our youth pastor.

Jacob Lavallee, Minister of Worship Arts

Jacob grew up at LMCC before heading off to college at Florida State University. Four years later after earning his degree in Music and Communications, he is back with us as our Minister of Worship. His hope and joy in ministry is that he would be a tool God would use in enabling others to behold God's glory through the means of music and fellowship.

Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all His wonderful acts. -1 Chronicles 16:9
